Low Confidence and Self Esteem

| Categories:

Confidence is a way of being, a particular sense of certainty an individual has about themselves and their capabilities. Another way of explaining it is positive self belief. Not everyone is confident and not everyone who seems confident is.

Healthy Self-esteem is having confidence in your own abilities, self-respect, and self-worth. Self-Esteem is ultimately your own sense of value. Your feeling of self-worth has a huge impact on your ‘being’ in the world.

Low self-esteem over a long period of time, has the potential to affect our mental health. If low self-esteem is your main issue, I will look at what is its cause and together, we will explore practical ways to increase it. Self-esteem and confidence are not one of the same thing, but generally are very intertwined and ideally one should have a healthy amount of both.

If this is an area in your life you want to change, we can explore where the blocks are to unleashing your potential to be confident. Using the right tools, you will learn to trust yourself to make the right choices for yourself and your life, and to be able to like, even love, the person you are.
