Anxiety is part of our natural lives, but if you find living with anxiety is overwhelming, this is not natural. Sometimes anxiety is the body’s way to say something is not okay and it’s time to change. Counselling can help get to the root of the problem and explore what is triggering the anxiety.

I use a variety of approaches to help you to manage your anxiety, often involving exercises and techniques that change the way you think about things.

  • Do you feel a sense of panic?
  • Do you walk around with a constant knot in your stomach?
  • Do you get sweaty palms?
  • Do you feel like you have something stuck in the back of your throat?

Anxiety is a sense of worry, unease or one’s being afraid of something that is happening or may do so in the future. The degree of anxiety can be anywhere from mild to severe. My therapeutic approach helps to look at the root of the worry and how best to manage it through strategies we can use and apply.

The journey to understanding the cause of your anxiety can seem scary. However, I will help you by providing the right support and advice that can be most beneficial for you.

I use a variety of approaches to help you to resolve your anxiety, which becomes more manageable with exercises that change the way you think about things. The meanings we attach to our perceptions are sometimes what needs altering.

So if you are experiencing General Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Anxiety disorder, or if you are afraid of being afraid and sick of worrying, please feel free to contact me.
