If you feel you are being controlled by your anxieties counselling may be your answer. In counselling I will help you unpick or unravel your thoughts and feelings so you can get an understanding of yourself and where you are at now.
The professional relationship developed between the client (you) and counsellor (me) helps to explore difficult, and often painful, emotions and experiences in a safe and non judgemental environment. These may include feelings of anxiety, depression, trauma or just thoughts that trouble you.
You may want help dealing with feelings of sadness or low self-worth that don’t seem to be connected to any particular event. You can talk and explore any feelings, beliefs or thoughts you are experiencing. Death and bereavement, or any loss, can result in feeling which may unsettle you, counselling will help.
I won’t offer you advice or my opinion; instead I will help you to gain insight into your feelings and behaviour and to change things if you feel it is right for you to do so.
